Instead of using cold written texts through emails, Kami allows children to use handwritten messages and drawings to send to their parents in order to keep it more comforting.

Other than using low-tech inner components, Kami uses technology that is already available which are landlines. The landlines allow children to connect and send the drawings like fax machines.

As these children only have landlines at home, Kami uses landlines to connect and send like a fax machine.

Kami uses a resistive pad which transfers the data through the landline back and forth. Then uses the thermal printer to print the parent's data on Kami.
