Our studio had been requested to reimagine the experience of the entrance and the plaza of MOCA due to their current struggles from the visitors.

It was a collaboration between 11 Architects, 4 Graphic Designers, 4 Product Designers, 4 Fine Artists, 2 Environmental Designer, and 1 Interaction Designer.

Although the museum itself is gaining popularity, the plaza area of MOCA is currently empty most of the times. Our challenge was to redesign the plaza of MOCA.

Shade for the L.A. heat

Part of my responsibilities on the team was to design shades for the visitors at MOCA. The peak time at MOCA was too hot for them to stay in the plaza area because there weren't any shades available.
